Social distance is not absence and the silence of these days it is not oblivion.

Let's take care of the world we live in and the time within us to reflect.
A difficult, terrible and at the same time unique moment for everyone.
Yes, because a "Virus Loco", crazy and unpredictable,
makes us all so equal and in need of each other.
This time we will not lose the bet to the horse race "Por Una cabeza", for a head,
as Carlos Gardel sang in the famous tango by Alfredo Le pera.
But we have an opportunity to change the world, and if we learn from experience,
then yes, for "A Crazy Virus", we will win!

Tango has its roots in the cultural, musical and multiethnic encounter of European emigrants forced in the early twentieth century to emigrate to the then promised land, Argentina. For years he sings the human events and the poignant feelings of those who, separated from their dreams and affections, found themselves forced to travel on a ship to unknown places and face difficulties and uncertainties. Tango is definitely loneliness, melancholy, pain and disillusionment, but also the hope of finding lost love, the need to feel part of a community, the desire to share pain in a cathartic way and thus carry out a real rebirth. In the 1950s, Tango became a social dance and spread during the so-called "golden age of Tango". After the 70s and the censorship suffered during the period of the military dictatorship in Argentina, the Tango returns to ride the world theatrical scenes, first with the unsurpassed music of Astor Piazzolla, then with the Broadway shows of the famous Argentine Tango company . In the 90s the world boom of Tango broke out with the film Tango lessons by Sally Potter and the film Tango by Carlos Saura

Where do you get there? Well, in 2009 when Tango was declared an Intangible Heritage of Humanity by Unesco.

Yes, because right from the new millennium, Tango lives in and in globalization, unites and embraces all continents and all peoples, it draws closer and closer curious and passionate, it brings together entire communities that huddle in the comforting embrace of the other , for 3 minutes, the time of a Tango or for eternity….

The tango then favors the return to Europe of the grandchildren of those emigrants, generating a movement for the exchange of energy, contamination and sharing.
Today, when we are asked to respect the social distance to protect ourselves and others, another strong message of solidarity and cohesion comes from Argentina, which with all its tangibility invites us to think about the common good because we do all part of a single worldwide embrace, as in the framework of Matisse's dance and we live on a single planet that is wonderful. I invite you to listen to this video published by a cantor of Buenos Aires that extreme spontaneity invites us to solidarity and brotherhood
